Domaine Dujac Clos de la Roche 2002 is a full-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru of Clos de la Roche in the Morey-Saint-Denis commune of the Côte de Nuits. Founded in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, Domaine Dujac is a highly regarded Burgundy producer based in Morey-Saint-Denis. The estate has a reputation for producing world class wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, ranging from entry-level Bourgogne to complex, age-worthy Grand Cru, such as this ‘Clos de la Roche’. "The 2002 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru has a very detailed bouquet with ebullient red berry fruit, sous-bois, bay leaf and a very subtle hint of liquorice. This is a very "involving" nose, one that you easily lose yourself within. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, notes of tea leaves, bay leaf and just a splash of balsamic infusing the red fruit. It leads to a nicely grippy, earthy finish that lingers in the mouth. Excellent." Vinous, 2019
