2012 was the first vintage of Yalumba’s flagship wine, The Caley. It is a blend of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon and old vine Shiraz from the Barossa. It is bold and expressive with notes of warm blackberries, cassis, five spice, cedar and anise. It is firmly structured and powerful with grainy tannins, fresh acidity and deep, but fleshy, fruit. Drink 2020-2045.
