Situated in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, Château Pontet-Canet is a prestigious Fifth Growth estate known for its commitment to sustainable winemaking practices. Their vineyards hold the distinction of being both organic and biodynamic certified. The 2020 vintage is a blend composed of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot. The ageing process occurred in a combination of 50% new barrels, 35% concrete amphorae, and 15% second-fill barrels. An exceptional wine available here in an Imperial bottle.

Château Pontet-Canet

Château Pontet-Canet is a winery in the Pauillac appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. It is classified as one of the Fifth Growths in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855. The estate's history dates back to 1725 when Jean-Francois de Pontet, royal governor of the Médoc, combined several vineyard plots in Pauillac. Over the years, the estate expanded, and its vineyards now cover around 120 hectares. Since the early 2000s, the estate has been managed according to biodynamic principles.
