Formerly known as the Araujo Estate, the Eisele Vineyard is potentially one of the greatest terroirs in California and is now owned by François Pinault of Château Latour in Bordeaux. It is well known for producing Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines of immense complexity, concentration and weight yet ethereal levity, silken texture and impressive longevity.

The 2015 Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon displays a bouquet of violets, sage and black currant. This is a full-bodied, multi-dimensional wine, revered for its balance, structure, and complexity, revealing deep layers of blackberry, cassis, and earth. Aged for 20 months in French oak, it exhibits the hallmark purity of fruit and terroir specificity for which Eisele Vineyard is known. Violets, black currant, sage, blackberry, cassis, subtle earthiness. Full-bodied with a complex structure and deep, layered flavors.
