Description

Situated in the commune of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the legendary Burgundy wine producer that needs no introduction. Romanée-Conti – or simply DRC – is owned in part by the de Villaine family and in part by the Leroy family, with Alexandre Bernier in charge of the winemaking. The domaine`s Montrachet Grand Cru is one of the rarest and finest white wines, produced from a 0.67-hectare vineyard holding where the vines are over 60 years old. The 2014 is a surprisingly light expression, revealing notes of lemon curd, hay, camomile tea, salty minerality and a touch of smokiness.
