With headquarters in Meursault, Domaine Leroy was formed in 1988 when Lalou Bize-Leroy acquired the estate of Charles Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée and subsequently Philippe-Rémy’s property in Gevrey-Chambertin. Today, Leroy owns approximately 23 hectares, including impressive holdings in nine Grands Crus and eight Premier Crus, all farmed biodynamically. Domaine Leroy produces this cuvée from a 0.66-hectare plot in Clos de la Roche. 1993 was a successful classic red Burgundy vintage, offering wines of structure and rich, ripe black fruit.
