Description

Emmanuel Rouget is a well-regarded vigneron based in Flagey-Echézeaux who set up his own label in the 1990s. The most important vineyard in his portfolio is the Vosne-Romanée premier cru ‘Cros Parantoux’, planted exclusively to Pinot Noir. Situated above the famous grand cru Richebourg, the prestigious vineyard is shared with Domaine Méo-Camuzet. The 1999 vintage reveals a superb nose with dark fruits, spices, liquorice and a touch of oak. The palate is powerful and structured, leading to a chiselled finish.
