Founded at the start of the 20th century, Armand Rousseau is a leading wine producer in Burgundy, currently managed by Eric Rousseau with the assistance of his daughter Cyriell. The Domaine consists of approximately 15 hectares, over half of which is situated in Grand Cru sites, including a 1-hectare plot in Ruchottes-Chambertin. The 1985 vintage in Burgundy, including Ruchottes-Chambertin, is considered one of the standout vintages of the decade, offering wines of great character and longevity.

The 1985 Chambertin is a benchmark vintage from Armand Rousseau, embodying the exceptional balance and finesse of Burgundy's Pinot Noir, with notes of red fruit, earth, and a subtle hint of oak. Elegant and complex, with layers of cherry, raspberry, clove, and earthy undertones, leading to a long, silky finish.

Ruchottes Chambertin is part of the Grand Cru vineyards in the Burgundy wine region, known for producing some of the finest and most expressive Pinot Noir wines in the world.
