With Brice de la Morandière at the helm, Domaine Leflaive is one of the most prestigious estates in Burgundy. It incorporates 22 hectares of vineyards, including an envy-inducing 10 hectares of Premiers Crus and 5 hectares of prized Grands Crus. Under the stewardship of the late Anne-Claude Leflaive, the Domaine became a pioneer in biodynamic farming in the region, achieving full conversion in 1997. The Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru is produced from 3 parcels totalling 1.8 hectares that were planted between 1955 and 1980. All fruit is meticulously sorted and hand-harvested in the vineyard, followed by fermentation in mostly seasoned oak casks and maturation for 12 months.
