Description

Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque is the original Belle Époque vintage cuvée, first appearing in 1964. Instantly recognisable throughout the world, its bottle is adorned with the graceful spray of Japanese white anemones created for Maison Perrier-Jouët by Art Nouveau master Emile Gallé in 1902. The 2008 vintage was described by the WineSpectator.com as follows, "This finely knit and lithe Champagne is smoky up front, opening into a lovely range of pastry, glazed apricot, lemon curd and candied ginger notes in the glass. Vibrant acidity drives the satin like finish. Drink now through 2030. 10,000 cases imported."
