The Spring Mountain District AVA sits above St Helena on the eastern slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains and has been the source for one of Lokoya’s four site-specific Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings since the winery’s inception in 2005. 2013 was an immense vintage and this is an utterly sublime release with both early drinking charm and yet phenomenal cellaring potential. It is probably the most aromatic and floral of the range, but Lokoya’s hallmark purity of fruit, seamless balance and extraordinary complexity never falters.
