Álvaro Palacios has quickly come to be recognised as one of Spain’s greatest winemakers. With a focus on local varieties from exceptionally old, low-yielding vines, he is consistently crafting some of the country’s finest wines. The 2017 vintage is a Garnacha-dominant blend but with a notable 20% Cariñena and 2% white grapes. A gloriously expressive and red-fruited wine, with refined tannins, beautiful precision and a long finish. Sold in hedonistic 900cl format.
