Description

Domaine Leroy was formed in 1988 when Lalou Bize-Leroy acquired the estate of Charles Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée and subsequently Philippe-Rémy’s property in Gevrey-Chambertin. Today, Domaine Leroy owns approximately 23 hectares, including impressive holdings in nine Grands Crus and eight Premier Crus. It is the 2nd largest owner of Richebourg – after Domaine de la Romanée-Conti – with approximately 0.78 hectares of vines. The 2007 vintage is a real showstopper, offering notes of black fruits, violets and spice, with an added earthiness of mushroom and beef stock that is both moreish and warming.
