The domaine founded in 1924 by Georges Roumier, and now run by grandson, Christophe, has attained a phenomenally high standing within Burgundy. In 1988 two expressions of Roumier Bonnes-Mares were produced, of which 100 cases were made of this “regular” cuvée. It is an outstanding wine with haunting perfume of cherries, dried herbs, liquorice, leather and smoke.
