Description

With headquarters in Meursault, Domaine Leroy was formed in 1988 when Lalou Bize-Leroy acquired the estate of Charles Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée and subsequently Philippe-Rémy’s property in Gevrey-Chambertin. Today, Domaine Leroy owns approximately 23 hectares, including impressive holdings in nine Grands Crus and eight Premier Crus, all farmed biodynamically. This release is from Chambertin, the prestigious Grand Cru vineyard where Domaine Leroy owns a 0.7-hectare plot. The 1997 vintage produced healthy and ripe red wines, with a soft structure.
