Bartolo Mascarello

Bartolo Mascarello was one of the most respected producers of Barolo, upholding the traditions of Barolo with his timeless, artisanal techniques. He was a stalwart defender of traditional Barolo, eschewing the use of barriques for aging, insisting on long macerations and aging in large Slavonian oak botti. His dedication to the traditional methods helped preserve the integrity and importance of Barolo wines worldwide.
