The 2018 vintage is an elegant, Merlot-dominant Bordeaux blend and has met with great critical acclaim. In the words of James Suckling, "This is really rich and intense with beautiful blackberry, violet and blueberry aromas that follow through to a full-bodied palate with extremely polished tannins that caress your palate. Love the texture and purity to the wine. Fantastic. Try after 2025." Sold in magnificent large format.

Château Valandraud

Château Valandraud is the fruit of an unparalleled passion for the vine and wine. Founded by Jean-Luc Thunevin and his wife Murielle Andraud, it became the flagship of the small Saint-Émilion property (Right Bank of the Dordogne), which led the way for what is known as the 'Garage Wine' movement. The approach was based on a more dedicated and artisanal approach to wine-making.
