The estate was founded in the early 20th century by Etienne Sauzet and has been managed by several generations of the Sauzet family. The 2000 Grand Cru Montrachet is showing aromas of lemon and orange, with a slight herbal note adding complexity. Fresh on the palate with great acidity, lemon zest and impeccable balance. Outstanding bottle.
