Description

Based at the Château de Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier is a family-owned estate producing some of the finest wines of the Côte de Nuits. The Musigny Grand Cru is made from the family’s 1.14-hectare parcel, which is entirely situated within the section known as ‘Grand-Musigny’. All of the vines here were planted between 1947 and 1962, producing small, high-quality berries. The 1995 vintage yielded a particularly small crop which resulted in high quality wines built for long ageing.

Features a bouquet of ripe cherries, blackberries, with subtle hints of earth and oak. On the palate, it offers layers of red and black fruits, violets, and a hint of spice, leading to a profoundly elegant finish.
