This wine comprises grapes from two parcels of Charmes-Chambertin and one of Mazoyères-Chambertin and is renowned for its supple texture, elegance and ageing potential.

The 2003 Charmes Chambertin by Domaine Armand Rousseau is a Grand Cru wine that showcases the unique terroir of Burgundy. A warmer than usual vintage, it offers a rich, concentrated expression of Pinot Noir with notes of ripe red fruits, spices, and a hint of earthiness. Ripe red fruits, spice, earthiness, well-integrated tannins, and a long finish.

Domaine Truchot-Martin was a highly respected wine producer in the Burgundy region of France, known for its exceptional Pinot Noir wines. The domaine was particularly famous for its old vine Pinot Noir from some of the most prestigious appellations in Burgundy, including Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, and Gevrey-Chambertin. Under the leadership of Jean-Marie Truchot, the domaine practiced traditional winemaking methods, emphasizing low yields, manual harvesting, and minimal intervention in the winery to best express the unique characteristics of each vineyard.
