Description

Based in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Jacky Truchot-Martin was a 15-acre estate with vineyards in three Burgundy appellations. Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. The estate closed down after its charismatic founder Jacky Truchot decided to retire in 2005. His wines have become very rare and highly sought-after by collectors. This is the 2002 vintage of the domaine’s Charmes-Chambertin, made from old vines of Pinot Noir. Expect a bright and beautifully scented expression, boasting notes of cherries, red berries, spices and earthy undertones.
