Based in the village of Chambolle-Musigny, Georges Roumier is a leading domaine in Burgundy, producing some of the most sought-after wines in the world. Run since 1992 by Christophe Roumier – the grandson of the domaine`s founder – the estate covers 11.5 hectares in Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis and Corton-Charlemagne. This is the domaine’s 2008 Les Amoureuses Premier Cru, a vintage marked by low yields but showing great purity of fruit. Drinking well now.
