With headquarters in Meursault, Domaine Leroy was formed in 1988 when the legendary Lalou Bize-Leroy acquired the estate of Charles Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée and subsequently Philippe-Rémy’s property in Gevrey-Chambertin. After continuous expansion, Domaine Leroy today comprises approximately 23 hectares, including impressive vineyard holdings in nine Grands Crus and eight Premier Crus. All the vines are farmed biodynamically and have been since 1988. This wine comes from a 0.22-hectare parcel in the premier cru Les Charmes. The 1999 vintage offers lovely notes of rose petals, wild strawberries and spices, finishing on a slightly mineral note.

Musigny is one of the most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy, located in the Côte de Nuits region. Wines from Musigny are highly sought after, known for their exceptional complexity, elegance, and aging potential. The vineyard itself covers a relatively small area, producing red wines almost exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, with a tiny amount of Chardonnay.
