Heitz Cellars is the iconic Napa Valley winery founded in 1961 by Joe and Alice Heitz. It is best known for its single vineyard wines made of Cabernet Sauvignon, and in particular the Martha`s Vineyard wine, the first vintage of which was 1966. This release from the 1982 vintage is showing no sign of fading, combining lively notes of dark cherries, spices, hints of cocoa and eucalyptus. Available here in a fabulous magnum bottle.
