Located in the northern part of Morey-Saint-Denis, Clos de la Roche is one of the 33 grand cru vineyards in Burgundy. Estates with major holdings in the vineyard include Domaine Ponsot, Domaine Armand Rousseau and Domaine Dujac, which owns 1.46 hectares of vines. The 2013 vintage produced some genuinely superb wines, and this release is no exception. Impeccably made for a very hot year.

The 2003 Clos de la Roche from Domaine Dujac is a remarkable expression of Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy's most esteemed Grand Cru vineyards. The vintage is characterized by its rich, concentrated fruit flavors, balanced acidity, and complex earthy and mineral undertones. The 2003 vintage offers aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, with hints of truffle and earth. On the palate, it delivers intense fruit flavors balanced by a refined structure and silky tannins, leading to a long, elegant finish.
