Ornellaia Vendemmia d’Artista celebrates the unique character of each new vintage. Since 2006 an artist has created a work of art and a series of limited edition labels inspired by one word to describe the vintage. In 2014, Brazilian artist Ernesto Neto, depicted ‘L’Essenza’ (Essence). 100 double magnums produced.

The 2014 Ornellaia Vendemmia d`Artista reflects the challenges and rewards of the growing season in Bolgheri, yielding a wine of profound complexity and elegance. The art for this vintage was created by John Armleder, encapsulating the essence of 'L'Infinito' (Infinite), the winemaker's selected word to describe the year's harvest. This vintage boasts a rich, intricate bouquet of dark cherries, plum, chocolate, and a hint of tobacco, followed by a well-structured, balanced palate with smooth tannins and a lingering finish.

The Vendemmia d’Artista series exemplifies the fusion of art and wine, highlighting the unique character of each Ornellaia vintage. This project sees the winery collaborating with renowned artists to design limited editions, with a portion of the proceeds going to support the arts.
