Description

When considering which Burgundy cru is the greatest for white wine, Montrachet stands alone in terms of quality, complexity and longevity. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s holdings consist of three parcels in the Le Montrachet lieu-dit in Chassagne-Montrachet, totalling just 0.68 hectares. Of the eight grand cru wines that DRC makes, this has the smallest production and is therefore often the rarest bottling.

About this wine

The 2010 Montrachet from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is a stellar representation of Chardonnay, offering an impeccable balance of richness, acidity, and complexity. Tasting notes for the 2010 vintage include prominent flavors of ripe stone fruits, citrus zest, and toasted nuts, combined with a striking minerality and a long, elegant finish.
