Description

Based in Flagey-Echézeaux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget is a top Burgundy producer and the nephew of the late Henri Jayer – a legendary winemaker from Vosne-Romanée. The most important vineyard in his portfolio is the Vosne-Romanée premier cru ‘Cros Parantoux’, planted exclusively to Pinot Noir. Situated above the famous grand cru Richebourg, the prestigious vineyard is shared with Domaine Méo-Camuzet. The 2001 vintage displays notes of ripe raspberries, figs, spices and a slight touch of pine.
