A 9-litre bottle of 2006 Ornellaia from their famous artist-curated `Vendemmia `Artista` series. 2006 saw artist Luigi Ontani confront the theme of `exuberance`, designing labels symbolising the four seasons of the year.

The 2006 vintage of Ornellaia, bottled in an exceptional 900cl format, is a part of the Vendemmia d`Artista project. This vintage is celebrated for its intense, opulent character and complexity. The vintage was characterized by a balanced growing season, resulting in wines with excellent structure, deep color, and a rich array of aromas and flavors. Exhibits aromas of blackberry, dark chocolate, and hints of cedar. On the palate, it presents a generous body with balanced acidity and fine tannins, leading to a long, elegant finish.

The Vendemmia d’Artista series exemplifies the fusion of art and wine, highlighting the unique character of each Ornellaia vintage. This project sees the winery collaborating with renowned artists to design limited editions, with a portion of the proceeds going to support the arts.
