The Spring Mountain District AVA sits above St Helena on the eastern slopes of the Mayacamas Mountains and has been the source for one of Lokoya’s four site-specific Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings since the winery’s inception in 2005. The 2012 is plush and decadent, redolent of warm black currants, blueberry pie and dried flowers. Luxuriant in feel, this is wonderful for drinking now but will reward further cellaring.
