There are currently four separate Gros domaines in Burgundy, all related to each other. Anne Gros, Anne-Françoise Gros, Michel Gros and Gros Frère et Sœur, which is based in Vosne-Romanée. The estate covers 19 hectares of vines, and it is run by Bernard Gros and his son Vincent. This Richebourg Grand Cru comes from a 0.7-hectare parcel that was partially replanted in 1985 and 1989. The 2002 vintage is a well-crafted wine, with an intensely perfumed nose and velvety palate.
