Description

Château Cheval Blanc is the iconic Saint-Émilion property, owned by Bernard Arnault [LVMH] and the Frère family. The 1989 vintage offers an outstanding nose, with rich red berry fruit and hints of vanilla. On the palate, there is a perfect balance of fruit and tannin. The latter is a little intrusive, but once the finish evolves it is forgotten. Available here in a rare 5-litre bottle.
