Description

Founded at the start of the 20th century, Armand Rousseau is a leading wine producer in Burgundy, currently managed by Eric Rousseau with the assistance of his daughter Cyriell. The Domaine consists of approximately 15 hectares, over half of which is situated in Grand Cru sites, including a 1-hectare plot in Ruchottes-Chambertin. The 1990 vintage produced some truly impressive wines, exuding charm, backbone and plenty of colour, and this release is a case in point.

About this wine

This wine showcases the depth, complexity, and grace that can be achieved in the Ruchottes Chambertin Grand Cru, marked by vibrant fruit, refined tannins, and an enduring finish. The 1990 Ruchottes Chambertin exudes aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, with hints of earth, leather, and spice.
