Description

Domaine Jacky Truchot-Martin was a 15-acre estate with vineyards in three Burgundy appellations. Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. Its charismatic founder Jacky Truchot decided to retire in 2005, which led to the closure of his domaine. Bottles of his wines are now increasingly rare and sough-after. This release is Jacky’s 1999 Charmes-Chambertin, a superb vintage to round off Burgundy` run of successful years during the 1990s. It produced Pinot Noir wines that are fruit-forward, ripe and juicy.
