Located in the village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is arguably the most revered wine estate in the world. ‘DRC’ as it is frequently called produces wines from eight different grand cru vineyards– mostly reds – including this Richebourg, made from a 3.51-hectare plot. This is a very rare bottle from the 1966 vintage, a very generous year for Romanée-Conti.

This vintage is celebrated for its complexity, depth and sophistication, demonstrating a superb balance of fruit, tannin, and acidity. Rich layers of cherry, earth, spice, and a hint of truffle. Well structured with a long, elegant finish.
