L’Ermita is the flagship wine of legendary Priorat winemaker, Álvaro Palacios, and could potentially lay claim to Spain’s greatest wine. Made from 85% Garnacha with 14% Cariñena and 1% white grapes (Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo and Pedro Ximénez) from an ancient single vineyard, the 2016 is yet another sensational release. As ever with this wine, there is wonderful aromatic complexity, excellent concentration of flavour and a captivating ethereal elegance. Perhaps still a little young to consume, this will happily age for 10-15+ years. Offered in glorious magnum format.
