Founded in 1863 by Fédéric Mugnier, a liqueur manufacturer from Dijon, Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier is a well-established estate producing some of the finest wines of the Côte de Nuits. The Musigny Grand Cru is the jewel of the estate, made from a 1.14-hectare parcel, which is entirely situated within the area known as ‘Grand-Musigny’. Burgundy 1996 was a particularly successful vintage, which has produced wines of outstanding concentration and precision.
