With a rich heritage that goes back to the 16th century, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the world-famous wine producer that needs no introduction. The iconic estate is jointly owned by two families, the de Villaine and the Leroy, with Alexandre Bernier in place as cellar master following the retirement of Bernard Noblet in 2018. DRC has the monopole of two grand cru vineyards, including the eponymous Romanée-Conti, which produces this flagship cuvée from 1.8 hectares of old vines. This is a rare magnum bottle of the 2007 vintage. a classy wine of haunting perfume, silky texture and exquisite balance. Very complex but subtle.
