Description

La Tâche is a small Grand Cru vineyard in the village of Vosne-Romanée, at the heart of the Cote de Nuits, and is a monopole of the legendary Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The 2001 vintage was described by owner, Aubert de Villaine, as “a real roller coaster for vignerons”, but meticulous sorting of fruit has resulted in an impressively svelte and supple wine that is perfect for drinking now.
