Description

Based in Chambolle-Musigny, Domaine Georges Roumier produces some of Burgundy’s most coveted and highly rated wines. The domaine was originally formed in 1924 by George Roumier who at the time farmed his own vines but also worked as vineyard manager for Comte Georges de Vogüé. Since 1992 the estate has been fully overseen by the talented Christophe Roumier, the 3rd generation family winemaker. This cuvée comes from Les Combottes, one of the 25 premier cru sites within the Chambolle-Musigny appellation. Expect a phenomenally balanced Pinot Noir, boasting notes of black cherries, herbs, dried leaves and a fine thread of minerality.
