Made by the legendary Priorat winemaker, Alvaro Palacios, Aubaguetes is a rugged, powerful and highly expressive wine from a single ancient 1.28ha vineyard in the village of Bellmunt. The 2017 is a blend of 75% Garnacha and 23% Cariñena, with 2% Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo, that underwent a long maceration of 49 days and an élevage of 16 months in various oak vessels. Annual production is incredibly small due to miniscule yields, with just 2,200 bottles produced in 2017.

Aubaguetes 2017 is a remarkable expression of Priorat, crafted by Alvaro Palacios. This vintage is made from old vine Grenache and Carignan, reflecting the intense character and complexity of the region's distinctive llicorella soils. Aged in oak barrels, the wine offers a harmonious blend of ripe fruit, mineral notes, and refined tannins, showcasing the winemaker's skill in creating balanced and profound wines.
