Description

Situated along Napa Valley’s Oakville bench, the Ulysses vineyard was once part of the famed Charles Hopper ranch and was acquired by Christian Moueix in 2008. From the unbelievably excellent 2013 vintage, this is a blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser parts Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It is incredibly full-bodied and powerful, yet endowed with deliciously exuberant notes of blackberry, cassis and wild flowers.

The 2013 Ulysses Napa Valley is a testament to an exceptional vintage in Napa Valley, renowned for its concentrated flavors and depth. This wine, presented in a large 600cl format, offers a luxurious experience of one of the finest years for Cabernet Sauvignon in the region. With its rich, layered complexity and elegant structure, it's a wine that promises to evolve beautifully over time. On the palate, it reveals layers of dark fruit, savory spice, and smooth tannins, leading to a long, opulent finish.
