Domaine Bizot Vosne-Romanée 2015 is a village Burgundy Pinot Noir from the hallowed commune of Vosne-Romanée in the Côte de Nuits. A professor of viticulture and oenology in Beaune, Jean-Yves Bizot works with the most exacting standards both in the vineyard and the cellar. Planted with a large proportion of old vines, his vineyard holdings are farmed organically. He ferments his Pinot Noirs with whole clusters, eschewing the use of sulphur during vinification and élevage. Bizot`s Pinot Noirs require considerable maturation time before they reach their peak of expression - from his Grand Cru Échézeaux to his village-level wines. His Vosne-Romanée is a blend of four different plots within the village. Les Communes, Les Jardins, Les Colombières, and Les Saules.
