Its founder Jacky Truchot retired in 2005, selling off his land and closing down the business. Bottles of his wines are now increasingly rare and in great demand. This is the 1995 vintage of the domaine’s Charmes-Chambertin, produced from very old vines. Expect notes of mushrooms, dates, dried figs and touch of mint.
