Based in the village of Vosne-Romanée, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the world-famous wine estate co-owned by the de Villaine and Leroy families. DRC produces wines from eight different grand cru vineyards that span the length of the Côte d`Or. The 6.06-hectare La Tâche is a monopole since 1933 and its Pinot Noir wines are regarded as some of the finest expressions of the variety. This is a rare magnum bottle of the 1990 vintage, a standout year for Burgundy. The wine is flashy and expressive, showing ripe red berries, black cherries, spices and floral notes. The palate is soft, round and has a tingling texture.
