Domaine Prieuré-Roch is a prestigious wine estate founded in 1988 by the late Henry-Frédéric Roch. Henry, who sadly passed away in 2018, was also the co-director – with Aubert de Villaine – of the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti from 1992 until his untimely death. Today, the estate covers approximately 16 hectares of vines of which 12 are in the Côte de Nuits. The winemaking philosophy at the domaine is built upon an organic approach to viticulture. The result are wines of extraordinary aromatics and energy, with remarkable acidity and ripe, complex fruits. This release comes from Le Clos Goillotte, a single vineyard situated within the Vosne-Romanée appellation. Available here in a superb magnum format.
