Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is undoubtedly one of the most influential producers in the world of fine wine. With a rich heritage that goes back to the 16th century, DRC is today jointly owned by the de Villaine and Leroy families and produces only grand cru wines. This is a rare bottle of the 1974 Romanée-Saint-Vivant, made from a 5.29-hectare plot in the prestigious vineyard. The wine opens up to a floral, scented nose, including rose petals, plant matter and black earth aromas. On the palate, it shows an ethereal character, with thin layers of fruit and a sweet aftertaste.
