Description

Owned by the Henriot family since 1995, Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest wine estates with a history that spans nearly three centuries. It is also one of the largest landowners in the region, with vineyard holdings totalling approximately 130 hectares. This is release is their Montrachet Grand Cru, where Bouchard acquired a 0.88-hectare parcel in 1838. The Chardonnay grapes are meticulously harvested by hand and the wine is matured for 13 months in 15% new oak, depending on the vintage.
