Domaine Leroy produces some of the most exclusive and highly sought-after wines in Burgundy, on a par with Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The estate was originally formed in 1988 when Lalou Bize-Leroy acquired Charles Noëllat’s property in Vosne-Romanée. After continuous and strategic expansion, Domaine Leroy today comprises approximately 23 hectares, including impressive vineyard holdings in nine Grands Crus and eight Premier Crus. This particular release comes from Les Boudots, one of the northernmost premier cru sites in the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation, where Leroy owns a 1.19-hectare plot. This is the domaine’s very first vintage and a rare collector’s item.

The 1988 Nuits St Georges Les Boudots by Domaine Leroy represents a quintessential expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir. Crafted from grapes grown in the esteemed Les Boudots vineyard, this wine showcases the intricate interplay of fruit, earth, and minerality.
