Description

Domaine Dujac is a critically acclaimed wine estate in Burgundy`s Morey-Saint-Denis, producing a diverse range of cuvées, from fruit-forward Bourgogne to exceptionally crafted Grand Crus. Dujac was founded in 1968 by winemaker Jacques Seysses and is now managed by two of Jacques’ sons, Jeremy and Alec, as well as Jeremy’s wife, oenologist Diana Seysses. This release is the 1985 vintage of the domaine’s Clos Saint-Denis, a Grand Cru that lies between the village of Morey-Saint-Denis to the south and Gevrey-Chambertin to the north, where the slope is very steep. 1985 was a small vintage but the finest wines were deeply coloured, rich and fruity.
